56th Annual Alberta Closed Provincial Championship and AHDA Open Competition – Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2026<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upcoming Championship<\/strong> will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026<\/strong> at the Harvest Centre, Westerner Park, in Red Deer, Alberta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Open Competition<\/strong> will follow on Sunday, May 3, 2026<\/strong> at Mother Theresa School in Sylvan Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please enter online at\u00a0https:\/\/www.eventry.net\/ahda<\/a>. \u00a0 Entries open on\u00a0Monday, February 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM (MDT).\u00a0 Entries will close at 11:59 PM (MDT) on Sunday, April 12, 2026.\u00a0 No late entries will be accepted.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning registration for Saturday\u2019s Provincial Championship<\/strong> will open at 8:30 AM<\/strong> with dancing to commence at 9:00 AM<\/strong>.  Callbacks will be announced following Morning events.  Afternoon registration will open at 12:00 noon<\/strong>; dancing to commence at 12:30 PM<\/strong>.  ALL Championships results will be announced following afternoon events<\/strong>.  Rep photos will follow all results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morning registration for the AHDA Open Competition on Sunday, May 3rd<\/sup><\/strong> will open at 8:30 AM<\/strong> with dancing to commence at 9:00 AM<\/strong> with Intermediate and Premier Highland<\/strong> classes.  Please note:  only dancers NOT entered in the Championship may enter the Premier Highland event.  Premier Nationals<\/strong> will immediately follow the Premier Highland results.  Registration for afternoon will open at 12:00 noon<\/strong> with events for all Primary\/Beginner\/Novice<\/strong> dancers to begin at 12:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
